FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN
Fire Alarm Technician
- Associate Degree or diploma in Electronics Communication or Engineering, or Fire Alarm Technology, from an approved institution or reputed university. Must have five (5) experience in trouble shooting, installation, repairs maintenance, and commissioning of analogue addressable and conventional, automatic fire detection and alarm systems. Must be conversant with leading fire alarm industry equipment such as Honeywell, Simplex, Siemens and Pyrotronics etc. Must be able to use VOM, oscilloscope and other logic test equipment. Must be able to read drawings/diagrams and can identify all fire detection and alarm system component parts. Shall be licensed from a major fire alarm manufacturer to configure & reconfigure and program addressable devices on the system to level III.
